It’s Time To Give Anger Some Love

It’s true, anger can be a difficult emotion. It can come out in intense and intimidating ways, leaving us reluctant to deal with it. Many of us learned that expressing anger was unacceptable, leading to a collective practice of avoidance. But here’s the thing: anger is a valid and appropriate emotion, just like joy, sadness or excitement. It’s time to shift our perspective and give anger the space it deserves.

Anger needs a place in our emotional repertoire. It can act as a powerful indicator that something is amiss or deserving of our attention. When explored constructively, anger can be a catalyst for positive change, helping us to understand underlying issues and advocate for our needs. Suppressing anger, on the other hand, can lead to a host of negative consequences.

Instead of dodging anger, let’s invite it in and see what it has to say.
